Meet the Stylists

Amber Hansen

Owner and groomer of 6 years, Amber values open communication with pet parents to achieve groom goals. Amber enjoys and specializes in Poodles, Doodle breeds, young puppies, and creative grooming styles - such as color and coat carving. She is currently studying hand-stripping techniques and other specialty groom styles to broaden our local grooming accessibility. Amber’s furry bestie is a Shih Tzu named Franky - our resident shop dog! “I wouldn’t be a groomer if it weren’t for Franky!” -Amber

Jaime R.

Jaime joined our Midtown Mutts team in late 2023, but came with many years of experience, as well as Master Groomer certification. We are so lucky to have her! Jaime takes her time with each pup to ensure a quality and comfortable groom. Jaime especially loves color clients, and yorkies, and has a Newfoundland buddy of her own at home, named Major.

Gabby B.

Gabby is our wonderfully talented full time Bather/Stylist Apprentice - and though she still has a lot to learn about haircuts, her baths, deshedding treatments, nail trims and brush outs are top tier! We are so excited to grow with her. Gabby recently rescued the cutest little pup named Ollie! Welcome Ollie!

Evangeline P.

Eve joins us in early 2024 as our part-time bather and stylist apprentice. She is learning so quickly and hopes to one day be our resident cat groomer! Yay!

FAQs

  • We groom all dog breeds, of all shapes colors and sizes! If you have a specific grooming vision, please share with us! :)

  • We understand that dogs come from all different walks of life, and with that, dogs may present a wide range of challenges in the grooming salon. We are happy to work with you and your fur baby as best we can. If any issues or concerns arise, we may recommend other specialty groomers or vet grooming. Common issues in the salon include not liking the dryer, hip and joint pain resulting in difficulty standing or sensitivity, provoked biting, fear/anxiety, and many more. We happily accommodate!

  • Matting can vary widely, and it is important to consider scheduling a quick consultation to determine the severity of matting. Be sure to brush your pet early and often to avoid severe matting, and never bathe your fur-baby at home without brushing them after! Depending on the severity of matting, we may charge additional dematting fees, as matted pets take extra time and care, or shave the coat short. This should never be a surprise, our groomers will communicate all possible outcomes!

  • Because we take multiple dogs at a time, we currently ask for 3-4 hours for most bath + full haircut services. Smaller dogs with less haircutting needs may be done sooner, as well as dogs that just get a bath + nail trim! Walk-in nail trims are speedy quick, and only take a few minutes. If you need your doggy friend done at a specific time, please let your groomer know, and we will try our best to accomote a reasonable request.

  • We do not currently offer any cat services or products. We love to recommend Jamie at Alice’s Pet Parlor, around the corner!
